Most countries have their own benefits for supplying cattle whether it is for geographical, animal quality or health purposes. We are currently buying large amounts of animals in Germany and Luxembourg, largely because of the reduced risk of disease such as TB & IBR. We are also taking advantage of the favourable market rates which enables us to offer our cattle at more affordable prices to our customers.
We import over 1300 animals for our clients annually. Many of our customers have brought repeat business to us and/or recommended us to others, which just in itself speaks volumes.

We offer a professional, fast and reliable service to our clients, delivering the highest quality cattle at competitive prices. We only hire top quality stockmen to travel with our cattle to ensure that the animals have the best possible care to enable their journey to be as stress free as possible.
Obviously notice is essential but as a general rule once the animals are ordered they are delivered the following week, usually 5 to 6 days after original purchase.
After placing your order, The Livestock Exchange will source and hand select your cattle (you are welcome to accompany us in this process). We arrange all required transportation for the entire journey and complete the relevant paperwork required for the import. The animals will arrive on your farm clipped, ready to work, and will require no further testing (from Germany & Luxembourg). You will only be required to apply for a BCMS passport and fill in a warble fly declaration form.
The system that we have put in place means the animals have minimal stress as they are superbly handled and cared for. They are fed and milked moments before they are loaded on the lorry for departure and are fed and watered during transportation.

We find that on arrival they settle in with ease and within three to five days are up to full production.
We are able to source and supply virtually any age or breed you require though we specialise in fresh calved high yielding cows and in calf heifers.
